Former radio DJ and humor podcaster, Nick Hetcher, inventor and father of Bob the Brick, decided to birth Bob as not only a pet brick, but a new best friend who listens to your every word. He also makes a great helper around the home and office.
Once Upon a Time... a long, long time ago, in a far away land, hidden far away from all mankind in the deep dark woods of northern Wisconsin, a little red brick was born. His name was Bob the Brick.
“Bob wasn't really born per se, he was actually grown in red clay soil, from a tiny little brick seed, which kind of looks like a grain of red sand,” says Hetcher.
A few of the many things Bob the Brick likes to do for you.
“Bob is the perfect best friend. He makes a great paper weight, door stop, self defense weapon, exercise brick, coffee coaster, travel companion, wall art and so much more. And, Bob doesn't eat or ever ask you for money," says Hetcher.
Hetcher came up with Bob the Brick as a fun alternative for those who can't have a real pet; like people at work, apartments, hospitals and nursing homes, and of course as a funny novelty gift.
"He's the dream pet, or actually your new BFF who will never judge you.” He's also the perfect gift for those you love,” says Hetcher.
On a more serious note, a portion of all Bob the Brick sales helps support the ASPCA, Compassion International and Feeding America.
